Job Summary:
The Director of Finance provides strategic financial leadership and high-value financial services by combining financial expertise with a deep understanding of healthcare operations. The Director will be employed by One Health Partners, a management services organization (MSO), which provides financial and operational support to affiliated community health clinics and specialty practices. The Director may be assigned to one or more community health centers where he or she may serve as a key financial officer. While focused on the health center’s day-to-day operations, the Director remains closely aligned with the MSO to ensure consistency and accountability.
This executive oversees all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting, grants management, reimbursement, and revenue cycle operations, with a strong focus on compliance with HRSA, OMB, and other federal/state regulations. The director ensures that financial strategies and practices support One Health’s mission of delivering high-quality, accessible care to underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities:
As a senior finance executive and strategic partner, the Director of Finance will:
- Lead and oversee financial operations, including accounting, reporting, payroll, and audits for affiliated health centers and specialty practices
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
- Ensure compliance with federal and state funding requirements, including Section 330 and Uniform Guidance
- Oversee billing, collections, and payer contracting to optimize revenue cycle performance
- Monitor financial KPIs and present timely reports and analysis
- Manage grants and restricted funds, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
- Support strategic planning with financial forecasting, scenario modeling, and risk analysis
- Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring a culture of accountability and accuracy
- Evaluate and implement financial systems to improve efficiency and transparency
Qualification & Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in an FQHC, nonprofit healthcare, or multi-site provider organization
- Deep knowledge of FQHC financial compliance, including HRSA, Medicaid/Medicare PPS, and OMB Uniform Guidance
- Experience managing federal grants and complex budgets
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and revenue cycle operations
- Demonstrated success in strategic financial planning and operational improvement
- Excellent communication presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to mission-driven healthcare
