Job Summary:

The Clinical & Quality Integration Lead is a physician executive responsible for standardizing clinical care pathways, optimizing quality outcomes, and facilitating change management during specialty practice integrations. This role bridges clinical operations and business strategy, ensuring that medical staff adopt evidence-based protocols and achieve consistent patient outcomes across all sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical standardization efforts, including Treat-to-Target (e.g., gout) protocols and referral processes.
  • Train physicians and advanced practice providers onsite to ensure adherence to clinical and documentation standards.
  • Redesign workflows for coordination among podiatry, rheumatology, and infusion service lines.
  • Establish and monitor clinical quality metrics and performance dashboards.
  • Serve as the physician liaison during integration and cultural alignment phases.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to optimize EHR workflows and clinical data capture.
  • Partner with compliance to maintain adherence to HRSA, CMS, and payer quality requirements.

Qualification & Requirements:
  • Licensed physician (MD/DO) in good standing; board certification in a relevant specialty required.
  • MBA, MHA, or equivalent management training preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in clinical integration, medical management, or practice transformation.
  • Expertise in care pathway design, quality improvement, and EHR optimization.
  • Demonstrated success leading physician engagement and change management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
